Nio delivered 3,436 vehicles in May, up 215.5 percent year-on-year to a record high. Nio expects to meet its second quarter delivery target.
Nio ES6 delivered 2,685 units in May, and since the start of deliveries in June 2019, cumulative ES6 deliveries have surpassed 20,000 units, reaching 20,668 units.
Nio’s new ES8 delivered 751 units in May, bringing the cumulative single-vehicle delivery to 21,674 units. As of May, the cumulative number of Nio brand deliveries exceeded 40,000 units, reaching 42,342 units.
In 2020, Nio has added 44 new “Nio spaces” in 24 cities.
As of June 4, Nio has opened 116 stores nationwide, including 22 Nio centers and 92 Nio spaces, with a sales network covering 76 cities nationwide.
Nio shares went up by more than 6% in pre-market trading.
