Ford China announced that official reservations for the Mustang Mach-E are available immediately, with deliveries expected by the end of the year.
The first production vehicles of Ford’s China-made Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle rolled off the production line at its plant in the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing on October 18, the company said Monday.

Ford said it will offer a warranty that includes eight years or 160,000 kilometers on the vehicle and core systems, as well as services including unlimited roadside assistance, to first Mustang Mach-E owners who pay a deposit on the vehicle and complete a purchase contract by December 31, 2021.
The Mustang Mach-E is an all-electric coupe SUV from Ford with a sporty focus. Since its debut at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show, the vehicle has been seen as one of the strongest competitors to the Tesla Model Y.
On January 28 of this year, Ford China officially announced plans for the Mustang Mach-E in China and said the model would be produced by the company’s joint venture in China, Changan Ford.
On April 13, Ford officially unveiled the Mustang Mach-E in China with a price range of RMB 265,000 to RMB 379,000, a significant overlap with the Tesla Model Y.
The model has a CLTC range of up to 619 km and the fastest 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.65 seconds.
The Mustang Mach-E comes standard with six cameras and 17 radars, with all intelligent driver assistance hardware front-loaded.
The new generation of Ford’s Co-Pilot360 intelligent driving assistance system will also make its debut on the Mustang Mach-E. The model comes standard with the L2-level Ford Co-Pilot360 intelligent driving assistance system.
Users can also choose the optional Co-Pilot360 Intelligent Driving Assistance upgrade package, which enables a “quasi-autonomous driving state” on select highways through BlueCruise Active Driving Assistance.
