Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has surpassed 30,000 Superchargers open worldwide, the company’s China charging team said Thursday on Weibo.

To date, Tesla has opened more than 7,600 Superchargers in the Chinese mainland, the company said. That means a quarter of Tesla’s Superchargers are here.

Tesla also has a large number of more than 1,750 destination charging piles in China, covering more than 360 cities, the company said.

In a conference call after announcing its third-quarter earnings on October 20, Tesla said the company’s charging network has doubled in the past 18 months and plans to triple it over the next two years.

On October 22, Tesla completed its 1,000th Supercharger station in the Chinese mainland.

The company has recently opened some of its Superchargers in the Netherlands for non-Tesla-branded electric vehicles.

In an interview with local media outlet thepaper.cn earlier this week, Grace Tao, Tesla‘s global vice president, said the company is preparing to open Superchargers to other brands of electric vehicles in China.

The project is still undergoing technical evaluation to ensure consumer experience and safety, Tao said.
