I ordered a few gifts last week that may or may not show up by Christmas. I know the elves at UPS and FedEx are working extra hard this time of year, but sometimes, things don’t work the way they should. So, I’ve put together a list of EDC deals that you can pick out, purchase online, and then pick up at your local store. That way you know they’ll make it under the tree in time. If that isn’t enough, all of the EDC gear below is also on sale.
Christmas EDC just isn’t complete without a multitool and the Leatherman Wave Plus for $95.98 is about as classic of a piece as you get. It’s at Cabela’s, which has 70 stores in the US and another 10 in Canada, so hopefully one is near you. If not, you must have a Lowe’s near by where you can pick up a Kobalt 27-Piece Ratcheting Multi-bit Screwdriver Set for $9.98. I bought a similar set for my son last year, and he carries the full set in his RC plane tool bag or picks out a few necessities to take with him in his EDC bag.
I also picked out a few knives, a big chunky Gerber Gear 06 Fast, Assisted Opening Clip Folding Knife for $68.00, that is available at Walmarts, which means you should be good to go unless you live in Antarctica. There are also a couple of things from Best Buy on the list, and I even included what I consider to be the ultimate stocking stuffer: a real titanium spork.
