Xpeng Motors (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) unveiled a special black edition model, the P7 Black Label Edition, late last month to mark the 100,000th unit off the line of the flagship sedan. Now, the model is available.

The Xpeng P7 Black Label Edition is based on the P7 670E+ model and is priced at RMB 329,900 ($51,800), according to information on the company’s website.

For reference, the current cheapest P7 is the 480G version, which starts at RMB 239,900.

In the Xpeng model naming system, the numbers represent the NEDC range, and the Xpeng P7 Black Label Edition is 670 km.

Xpeng saw the 100,000th production P7 roll off the production line on March 23, and it officially unveiled the special black edition model, the P7 Black Label Edition, as the 100,000th P7 to roll off the line that day.

The Xpeng P7 went on sale on April 27, 2020, with the first deliveries starting in late June 2020.

The P7 Black Label Edition uses a black theme. It is equipped with XPILOT 3.0 intelligent assisted driving hardware system, which can support highway Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP), parking lot memory parking and other advanced intelligent driving capabilities.

The model uses a single motor with a maximum power of 196kW and a maximum torque of 390N-m.

Xpeng delivered 15,414 units in March, up 202 percent year-on-year and 148 percent from February, according to data released by the company on April 1.

The company delivered 9,183 units of the P7 flagship sedan in March, marking the first time deliveries of the model exceeded 9,000. 4,398 units of the P5 were delivered in March and 1,833 units of the G3 series were delivered.
